(212) Café :: Logo and Rebrand

(212) serves New York-inspired sandwiches and salads with a side of genuine Colorado friendliness in central Denver. They also had a new focus on offering more unique fare, and needed a new look and feel that better communicated this commitment. ripcord used fresh, high-energy colors, plus a warm brown to create a contemporary yet inviting logo. We also added the word “Café” to better represent the type of food and experience (212) Café offers. Order up!

ripcord was charged with creating a website that clearly identifies who (212) Café is and what they offer, while communicating the personality and attitude of the restaurant based on their updated brand. We created a small, brochure-style html site where guests and potential catering customers could get contact information, download menus and order forms, plus learn more about the restaurant. The site has fresh new look and is serving (212) Café well. Launch site.

Their rebranding didn’t stop with a new logo and some new menu boards. (212) Café and ripcord took the new look and feel and put it on everything T’s and sweatshirts, work shirts for the guys in the kitchen, stickers for catering, and packaging. We even wrapped (branded) their delivery van.

DeBourgh Manufacturing Co. :: Corporate Brochure and Locker Box

Made of 18 gauge steel and weighing in at a strong 4 lbs., the DeBourgh locker box is a sleek, yet powerful homage to the durable products manufactured by this 100 year old company. The box is designed to hold and present DeBourgh's corporate and product collateral (also created by ripcord) in an attractive and memorable way.

The success of this piece has been overwhelming. Dealers and targeted clients have asked for so many that we are now in the 3rd round of production. Sales for this year, in a down economy, have increased over the previous year through the use of this and other promotions that tie to the new look and feel of the brand as created by ripcord.

This core data software provider for the bank and credit union industries needed to reposition itself to be more compelling and relevant in a demanding marketplace. Our strategy was to reposition the company’s products with new points of differentiation. A new logo and tag were created and introduced through public relations, event planning and teaser tactics.

The “Journey” theme showcases cycling to illustrate “metaphorically” the drive, momentum, and energy R. W. Beck puts into advancing their business of energy, water, and waste resources.

R.W. Beck needed to create a brand look and feel that delivered on their strategic platform. We conducted a Brand Visualization session with the client team to explore options for color palette, graphic, and imagery directions. This collaborative effort produced a rich and vibrant visual montage that provided us with the visual platform for designing a look for their marketing materials that was the perfect fit.
